Hi, I'm Val the creator of Sheep Delight and this is my first children's storybook. As a Yorkshire lass this book is based on the many happy hours I've spent watching lambs playing on bales on hay and thinking 'they're playing King of the Castle' - simple really but hopefully entertaining. A reader has described my book as 'heart-warming' - which I take as a compliment indeed. It is a sheepy tale about Elsie and her 3 lambs, Grace, Cathy and Victoria playing 'I'm the King of the Castle' on bales of hay, along with their farmyard friends. Their friends include: Jack the Border Collie, Frankie the donkey, Katie the butterfly, Pat the cow, Sid the pig, Penny the hen and Jimmy the cat - all cared for by Farmer Tom.
