The photo aside was taken in 1957, I was on a day trip to Whitby. The bus stopped to let us have time with the lovely Swaledales, on the fab-ewelous North York Moors. I am sure it is because of this precious moment that I love the British countryside so much, but most of all sheep!

In 2006-2007 we launched our own Sheep Delight brand of clothing, fleece jackets, baby blankets, accessories and bath linens - featuring 4 beautiful sheep, designed by our Victoria. The sheep are Elsie, Grace, Cathy and Victoria. Plus 'our Jack' the gorgeous Border Collie. Our chenille embroidered sheep badges and Jack badge are available at £1.50 each so ewe can sew onto your own garments and linens - find in our Craft Dept.

Now for the sad news - our shop at Elsecar Heritage Centre closed on Saturday 31st May 2008. This was a massive decision for us but the shop was no longer financially viable. Thank ewe to all our customers who visited the shop over the past 2 and a half years it has been an absolute pleasure to meet and serve ewe all.
A bit of history! Sheep Delight was formed in December 2004, the realisation of a lifelong dream for Val Noble who has loved all things sheep since the age of 2 years. Along with thousands of others worldwide Val appreciates the beauty and calmness that sheep bring to our otherwise hectic and materialistic lives. This family run business concentrates on all things sheep and Border Collie - hopefully to become the best sheep shopping experience in the world!
